Who we are
Quywater Partners (IOM) Limited is a company registered in the Isle of Man (company number 137429C) and is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. We operate under the Isle of Man’s data protection framework, which applies the GDPR standard. You can reach us at hello@quywater.com.
What we collect, and why
The only personal data this site collects is what you choose to give us through the enquiry form: your name, email address, optional phone number, role, location, and whatever you write about your organisation and its situation. We use it for one purpose — to review your enquiry and respond to it. Every submission is reviewed by the founder personally.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to an enquiry you initiated) and, where your enquiry concerns a potential commercial relationship, taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
What we deliberately do not do
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why you have not seen a cookie banner. Our analytics service, Plausible, is cookieless and records aggregate page statistics only — it cannot identify you. We do not sell personal data, share it for marketing, or use it to train anything.
Who processes data on our behalf
Four service providers process data strictly on our instructions: Vercel hosts the website; Resend delivers enquiry emails (including the copy sent to you); Cloudflare provides the Turnstile check that protects the form from automated abuse; and Plausible provides the cookieless analytics described above. Each processes only what its role requires.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is retained while the conversation it began remains live, and for no longer than two years after the last substantive contact unless a commercial relationship has followed. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive a copy in a portable form. To exercise any of these, email hello@quywater.com. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may complain to the Isle of Man Information Commissioner.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. We will not weaken it quietly.
